Transcript

I’m Marcus Poston, the Facilities Manager here. When you first arrive at the Leisure Centre, there will be a queuing system outside, which will adhere to social distancing which we’ve implemented with the footprints across the building.

Obviously when you first arrive and come into the building, there will be some barriers, which will indicate an entrance and an exit as you come into the leisure centre. Obviously, we’ve got hand sanitiser stations, which is available for customer use, as you come in and as you exit both sides.

A queuing system as you come into reception, where you will be greeted at the reception, by the receptionists. Obviously, we’ve got the perspex screens up, where you will be served
at reception into your bookable activities.

Upon reopening, we’ll have gym sessions, swimming pool which will both be bookable activities. There’ll be one hour bookable sessions, which will also allow for a 30 minute cleaning window afterwards, where staff will have a heightened cleaning regime to ensure the facilities are clean and safe ready for use.

So, as you find as you come into the leisure centre, throughout the whole facility, you’ll find hand sanitising stations as you did as you came into the entrance. You’ll also find cleaning stations, you’ll find Tork roll, there’ll be disinfectant, so obviously within the swimming pool environment, customers at their own can clean the cubicle, touchpoints. Staff will have a half hour window around the bookable sessions, where all the changing rooms, facilities, sinks, toilets, changing cubicles will be deep cleaned by the staff throughout the day.

So that was a quick walk around Clacton Leisure Centre and we look forward to welcoming you back from Monday the 27 July. We hope to see you soon.
