Hi, I’m Dawn. I’m the co-owner of Food, Glorious Food. We are an independent grocery store based in Carlisle.

We’ve been trading as an essential business since the beginning of this crisis so we’ve had a little bit of time to adapt to the current situation and to put some new measures in place to keep both ourselves and customers safe.

Some of the changes that we’ve made include introducing new contactless delivery and collection options, which reduces the amount of customers coming through the door drastically.

When customers do come in store to shop, we are limiting it to one household at a time, and we’ve also put markers on the floor so people who are in the shop can judge distances between us and them. We do also have hand sanitiser gel for customers to use on entrance and exit to the shop.
