Video transcript

My name is Philip Ainsworth from Ainsworth Jewellers in Blackburn. We’re a family business established in 1870, so 150 years old this year.

We’re an independent jewellers and have been based on our Darwen street location for over 50 years.

This pandemic has made us change the way we look at our business and one of the things that we’ve introduced is hand sanitiser stations throughout the business.

We’ve put signage up for the two metre social distancing rule. We’ve taken away a number of our counters, so less people can come into the shop and be spread around the shop more.

This will be different times and we'll be learning as we go on, but we’re looking forward to welcoming customers back into the shop from Monday.
